Political art isn’t my bailiwick, but it was sort of the nature of the show and “purpose-built” for the occasion.
It was inspired by Norman Rockwell’s The Runaway. My version is a commentary on the status quo in the Middle East. And yes, I understand that Iranians are Persians and not Arabs, but coming up with titles is something I usually struggle with, and the quasi-anagram, “Tehran Jaway”, worked for me despite its misplaced allusion.
